Why it's yours
Still brewing. MIT when it ships — built to be owned: your hardware, your data, no lock-in.
The problem
A minimal, native Navidrome player for Apple devices. Swift.
You run Navidrome for your self-hosted library, but reaching it in a browser breaks the native flow — no queue, no now-playing, no shelf that feels at home on Apple devices.
What you do
Point Shelvarr at your Navidrome server and play.
- Connect to your library and browse artists, albums, and playlists.
- Queue tracks and keep playback controls in the shell.
- Search the library without hunting through a web player.
What you get
- Native Apple shell. Built in Swift for iOS and macOS, so playback feels at home on Apple devices.
- Library without the browser. Browse and play your Navidrome collection directly, instead of through a web page.
- Queue and now-playing. Keep the queue and playback controls together in one player.
- Still brewing in the workshop — no public build or links yet.
